If you haven’t heard Rebecca Black’s song Friday consider yourself lucky. The rest of us contributed to her Youtube video being viewed over 200 million times. Using web video, like Youtube and Vimeo, to market your products and services can be done cost-effectively and provides another channel for potential customers to find you (an added bonus? Google includes Youtube videos in their search engine result pages).

This video of Kevin Allocca, a Youtube Trends Manager (fancy name for someone who is paid to watch web video all day long), outlines three elements to help your web videos go viral

Editors’ Note: surprisingly, including dogs in your video wasn’t one of the three elements, but apparently being stoned in your video can help it go viral.
